Killzone 2 looks good, no question about it, but why are people going INSANE over Killzone 2? Why are they FREAKING OUT? I'll come right out and say it--COD4 looks just as good as Killzone 2. Seriously. What is so mind blowing and earth shattering about those KZ2 videos? What am I missing?

I won't pretend to know much about computers Fig, but I'll believe the PS3 can run a game like crysis at max settings when I see it. And you don't have to sell me on the PS3's excellent line-up of exclusives, I'm a PS3 fan, and MY computer couldn't run crysis in it's wildest dreams, I just don't think that the PS3 is the most powerfull computer in the history of the planet like Sozuke does.
You're out of your mind Sozuke. If you think that any PS3 game looks better than crysis, then you haven't seen crysis running at max settings. It takes a top of the line computer, with top of the line graphics cards to run crysis on the highest settings, and you're telling me that a $400 console's games look better?

The minute COD4 was released Halo 3 became completely irrelevant. This is not 2002 anymore Bungie, and you are no longer developing for the original xbox. Get those bright purple and pink colors and aliens with little kid voices and star wars reject story the hell out of here. COD4 makes your game look like it was created by children.
Have you read a single post on this entire thread? These pictures are blown up to 7 times their original size, so of course they don't look good. You can't judge the graphics of Resistance 2 based on these ludicrious pictures, they mean nothing.
What are you talking about? I've passed the single player Resistance three times and I've never seen bullets leaving the guns, or these "white steaks" that you're talking about. What are you on?
Honestly, if you're only planning to buy 2 games for all of 2008 then you are a really casual gamer and I'm surprised that you would even bother reading N4G. Nothing wrong with buying 2 games a year and reading N4G, its just surprising.
Its hard to say how well Gears 2 will sell because there are a lot of people out there like me. I bought the first Gears because it had amazing graphics for it's time and because there was nothing else to play at the time. But I found the single player boring and the on-line lame. Come fall there will be a ton of shooters to choose from, and Gears 2's graphics will be nothing special, so there is no way I will buy Gears 2, its not even on my radar. I don't think it will be all that big.
They've said many times that they would release MGS4 in the second quarter of 2008. June is the last month of the second quarter of 2008, so it will definitely be released by June, if not sooner. No question.
My problem with the sixaxis isn't the motion control, its the R2 and L2 triggers. They're uncomfortable and my fingers always slip off. I really wish they would have left those triggers the way they were on the PS2 controller. The PS2 controller was perfect. Why mess with it?
The Wii is a fad and will completely die out in a couple of years, just like every other fad toy has always done.
Mircosoft was too short sighted, and the 360 will eventually get broken by the PS3's staying power.
A lot of japanese games can elicit emotion, but, then again, most japanese games have plots that are almost totally non-sensical and incomprehensible. Just like most anime. I haven't seen a video game yet that packs an emotional punch, and also has a logical plot.
I'm glad LO is selling. Its a great game, but if xbox owners don't start supporting JRPs then they'll probably quit making them for the 360. Everyone go out and buy LO!

I'm glad someone finally mentioned how terrible the sound effects are in Uncharted. They really are bad. I also agree that Uncharted has very little replay value. The problem I had with your review, toughname, is that you make countless grammer and spelling errors. You might want to think about an english class.
But blu-ray IS needed this gen. This is obvious just looking at Lost Odyssey. If Lost Od. was on the PS3 it would fit on one blu-ray disk, instead on the 360 you're dealing with 4 disks. 4 disks isn't a huge deal, but wouldn't you rather have the whole game on one disk? Of course you would. Everyone would. And its only going to get worse, because games are only going to get bigger.
Lost Odyssey is a great game and was really underrated. I thought the story was great and the combat, although old school, was fun. It also had excellent music. The only thing I didn't like about the game were some of the character designs. A lot of the character's bodys seemed out of proportion. Just look at how big Ming's ass is. Its out of control. Plus, Cooke is supposed to be a little kid and they dress her like a prostitute. Whats up with that? Must be a Japanese thing. Anyway, the poin...
